Dr. Galip Gürel graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1981. He continued his education in the University of Kentucky, Department of Prosthodontics. He received MSc degree in Yeditepe University (Istanbul).

Dr. Gürel is both the founder and honorary president of the EDAD (Turkish Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Association). 

He is honorary diplomat of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry (ABAD) member of American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA) as well as elected president of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for 2011-2012. He is also editor in chief of Turkey Quintessence Magazine and he is in the editorial team in the AACD, PPAD (Practical Procedure & Aesthetic Dentistry) and EJED. Dr. Gürel, who have given speech about dental aesthetic in many parts of the world, have been offering lectures at New York University and Yeditepe University in the graduate program. He is the author of the book named ​​"Porcelain Laminate Veneers Science and Art" published by Quintessence and translated into 13 different languages.

He has been working as a specialist in aesthetic dentistry field in his private clinic is Istanbul since 1984.

Dr. Gürel also known as being sportsmen took over the captaincy of Turkish National Water Polo Team for 110 times. He has been the World Champion of Camel Trophy and the competitor of the Paris-Dakar Rally.  

Ata Anıl graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1987 and has worked in periodontology department for 2 years. 

He began his implantology doctorate at the University of Mainz in Germany in 1990, finished his doctorate in 1994.
He has been assumed the title of associate professor in the Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1997, he continued his studies at Istanbul University until 2002. Between 2004 - 2007 he has been lecturer on implantology in Germany Berlin Charite University, Faculty of Dentistry. Since 2008, he has worked as a lecturer in the Implantology and Aesthetic master program in the Steinbeis University in Germany. Moreover, he was an instructor of implantology in Germany Mainz Chamber of Dentists. Ata Anıl has thirty scientific publications, including six of them are in foreign languages and he speaks German, English and French.

He was born in Istanbul in 1958. 

He studied at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry between the years 1977-1982. In 1988, he assumed the title of PhD with the thesis titled "Researches on probes used in fixed dentures". He became Associate Professor in 1991 and became a professor in 1998. He is one of the founders of EDAD Association of Esthetic Dentistry Academy. He is still the president of the association.  

Former president of the IADR IRG.

He was general secretariat at CAI (Computer Aided Implantology) he has been founder and still scientific committee member of the CADA (Computer Aided Dentistry Academy). He is also one of the active member of the IADDM (International Academy of Digital Dental Medicine) and DDS (Digital Dentistry Society) association. He has been continuing to be general editor-in-chief in the Quintessence Turkey Journal.

He is the diplomate member in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and, member of the European Association for Osseointegration. He has many scientific publications both in Turkey and abroad He is the translation editor of the book named "Applied Implant Dentistry" published by Quintessence Publishing. He is the participant author of the book of "Secrets of Success in dentistry". Since 2002, after his graduation, he has trained more than a thousand colleagues in courses organized for Basic Oral Implantology and Advanced Surgical Techniques. He gave lectures and courses in the international congress held both in Turkey and abroad, besides he has been sessions moderator. He has been the manager and the trainer in the IMEP Implantology Education Program (Curriculum Implantology) organized by jointly German Society for Implantology (DGI) and EDAD-ICG. He has made presidency of the EDAD IV. International Congress of Implantology Working Group and Quintessence X. International Symposium. He has the Dr. Haşmet Gökdeniz Sinus Lifting Kit that he designed by himself and has the patent of it. In 2007, for the first time in our country he has started platelet rich fibrin work and currently he has been conducting practical courses. He began to make the operation of the MIAMBE system in 2010 and conducting the practical courses.
He is the translation editor of the book named "Aesthetic Strategies for Treatment of soft and hard tissues in Implantology" published by Quintessence Publishing. He is the honorary member of the Azerbaijan Association of Implantology.

He is continuing his studies in his private clinic.

Dr. Kübel İlter Özkut graduated from Istanbul University, faculty of Dentistry in 1996 and while she worked in the Galip Gürel's dental clinic for about 10 years, she participated in several advanced training program both in Turkey and abroad in order to improve her knowledge and experience based on esthetic dentistry. She is currently working as a clinic director in the Dental Clinic of Acibadem Maslak Hospital.  

To develop his managerial skills, she did his master degree in Yeditepe University, Business Administration program predominantly based on Hospital Management between 2001-2003. She is a board member in the of the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EDAD) of which she has been a member since 1996. Her clinical studies have especially focused on advanced restorative treatments aesthetic dentistry and implant-supported dentures. She has been giving training on Clinical management and communication with patients. She is married and has two children.

He dah completed his primary and secondary education in Kadıköy Anatolian High School.

He graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry.
He has completed his PhD in Istanbul University by specializing on Crowns Bridge Dentures and assumed the title of denture specialist, Dr., dentist, DDS and PhD.

Since 1999, he is working in his own clinic as a private dentist; besides he has worked as specialist dentist Istanbul Surgery Hospital Dental Health clinic between 1998-2000 and he has managed the Estethica Hospital, Oral and Dental Health between 2010-2013. Dr. Selim Çömelekoğlu is both board member and general secretary of the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Association.

He is member of Turkish Society of Oral Implantology and Association of Turkish Prosthodontics and Implantology. He has participated several seminars, trainings and courses both in Turkey and in world, and has given many presentations and courses in many scientific congress in Turkey.

He was born in Istanbul. After he graduated from Istanbul Boys High School in 1987, and from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1992, and then within the same year, he started his doctorate education in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry faculty, in Total Partial Denture field.  

He has been assumed the title of Doctor in 1999, and of Professor in 2007. Between 1997-1998 he worked as a visiting researcher and the dentist in Ludwig Maximillian University Denture Clinic. He has total 55 scientific publications; 25 of them in foreign refereed journals and 60 conferences. 
The issues that he has concentrated on in his scientific studies and that he gave the conference about are; diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint diseases, disorders of the masticatory system and dental contact (occlusion), grinding or clenching of the teeth (bruxism) and conservative treatment of these. He is a father of one child.

Dentists Melih TARHAN has doing his profession with an understanding that highlighting the aesthetic as well as the function in modern dentistry. After completing his high school education in Beşiktaş Atatürk High School, he has completed his university education in İ.Ü. Dentistry Faculty. After then, he has worked in many private hospitals and he has worked as clinical director and dentist in the private Procare dental clinic for 3,5 years until 2000. He completed his post-graduate certificate education in the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) between 2000-2001. 

During this period, in addition to General Dentistry Education, he has scientific research on issues of Porcelain Laminate Veneers, Dental Bleaching and smile design. Since 2000, he has been working in his private clinic, located in the Hacıemin Efendi street in Nişantaşı at the beginning then moved to Valikonağı street. His clinic practice involves mainly laser-assisted therapy and prosthetic applications above implant in addition to all applications of general dentistry practices, he has continued his both international and domestic works and training. 

He is member of Turkish Dental Association and member of the board directors in the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Association (EDAD).

He is interested in music and sports regularly and plays piano and saxophone as hobby. 

He is married and is the father of a daughter.

Dt. Murvet Yıldız graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2005. She has begun to work in Galip Gurel's clinic in the field of prosthetics, endodontics, restorative and implant dentistry. Furthermore, she served as educator who teaches the recent developments related to the Porcelain Laminate Veneers to the local and foreign participants in the Dt. Gürel Institute's Advanced Aesthetics postgraduate program. She has finished the Aesthetics Certificate Program at the New York university, The Faculty of Dentistry and Laser Mastership Program at the University of Aachen. After graduating the Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2005, Yılmaz Umut Aslan became a teaching Assistant and PhD Resident at the Department of Prosthodontics of the same faculty in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his PhD education conducting a thesis about impression materials. He became an Associate Professor in 2014 and in 2016 he started to work as Vice Dean and lecturer in the same faculty.

He is the general secretary of Turkish Association of Prosthodontics and Implantology (TPID) and a Board Member of Turkish Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EDAD). He is an active member of MINEC, EPA, ICP and ITI.

Dr Aslan is a speaker and hands on lecturer in national and international conferences on topics related to aesthetics, implantology, digital and prosthetic dentistry. He has publications in both English and Turkish dental journals and book chapters. He also works as a private clinician in Istanbul.

Prof. Dr. Elif Bahar Tuna İnce graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry, and completed her PhD at the same university’s Department of Pediatric Dentistry in 2006. During her doctoral studies, she conducted part of her research as a visiting scholar at Indiana University, USA.

Between 2008 and 2010, she carried out postdoctoral research at Nihon University, School of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry in Tokyo, Japan, supported by a TUBITAK Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. During this period, she also served as a researcher at the National Institute of Health Japan.

Titles: She was appointed Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2018.

Current Position: She is currently a faculty member at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Istanbul University.

Additional Expertise: She earned a Master’s degree in Orthodontics from Yeni Yüzyıl University in 2021.

Publications: Prof. Dr. E. Bahar Tuna has authored over 200 national and international articles, holds 5 registered patents, and has written 3 book chapters.

Research Interests & Administrative Roles

Her primary scientific interests include early orthodontic treatments, craniofacial syndromes, and dental anxiety. Currently, she serves as the Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and holds the position of Treasurer for the Turkish Society of Paediatric Dentistry.

Prof. Dr. Ali Çekici was born in Istanbul in 1977. He graduated from Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School in 1995 and from the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2000.

In 2001, he began his doctoral studies at the Department of Periodontology at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. He earned the title of Dr. Med. Dent. in 2007, becoming a periodontist (specialist in gum diseases). That same year, he started working as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the department where he completed his doctorate.

After completing his military service at the Istanbul GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy) Dentistry Department between 2007 and 2008, he returned to his position at Istanbul University. Having been awarded a TUBITAK scholarship, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard University, The Forsyth Institute in Boston, USA, from 2010 to 2012.

He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2014. In 2024, he was appointed to a Full Professorship at the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology, where he continues to serve as a faculty member.

Sina Saygılı graduated from the Istanbul German High School (Deutsche Schule Istanbul), earning a dual high school diploma including the Abitur. He then completed his undergraduate studies at the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry.

As of 2015, he began his doctoral program at the Department of Prosthodontics within the same faculty. In 2022, he completed the program with his thesis titled "Investigation of two different methods used in personalizing the settings of virtual articulators." He currently continues his professional and academic career in the same faculty and department.
